The Coldest Night

It's cold out there. The Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly walk that raises money for charities serving hungry, homeless, and hurting people in our community. Walk event is on February 22, 2020!

Too many individuals and families are struggling in our community, especially during winter’s coldest months. Guided by a passionate concern for the dignity and well-being of each individual, the Bissell Centre works to eliminate poverty in our community. They offer an expansive network of programs and resources to help vulnerable Edmontonians find housing, employment, family supports, mental health services, and more.

Funds raised from the Coldest Night of the Year walk will support the Community Space, which allows individuals to walk in out of the cold and gain not only immediate access to basic needs like food, clothing, shelter and hygiene facilities, but the opportunity to seek life-changing supports to help empower them to move from poverty to prosperity.

Together, we can create change and re-write the future for those who feel hopeless, afraid, and alone.
